The work

What moving a house or condo actually involves.

Most of what we move is somebody’s home: a first condo, a growing family’s house, a rental that has to be empty by noon. The work is the same either way — protect the property, wrap the furniture, load it so nothing shifts, and put it back where you want it.

We plan around the things that actually slow a move down: elevator bookings, narrow stairwells, parking, and the one piece of furniture that barely came in the front door. Tell us about them when you book and they stop being surprises.

What's included

Every home move includes this.

How it works

How your home move runs, start to finish.

01

Tell us what's moving

A room-by-room rundown, the two addresses, and anything awkward — a piano, a safe, a basement fridge.

02

Get a scope-based estimate

Written, explained, and based on what’s actually moving. No hourly guesswork.

03

Moving day

Floors and doorways protected first, furniture padded and wrapped, then loaded in an order that makes unloading quick.

04

Placed, not dumped

Boxes to the rooms you label, furniture where you want it, beds and tables reassembled.

Your estimate

What shapes a residential moving estimate.

Scope-based, explained upfront — here’s what we look at.

Size of the home

How many rooms are actually moving, not just the square footage.

Access at both ends

Stairs, elevators, long carries from the truck to the door.

Specialty items

Hot tubs, pianos, safes, oversized furniture and anything needing extra equipment.

Timing

Month-end, weekends and short notice are the busiest windows.

Questions

Residential moving questions.

What do you protect in the home?

Floors, doorways and walls go under protection before the first box moves, and furniture is padded and wrapped before it’s carried.

Do you reassemble furniture at the new place?

Yes — basic disassembly and reassembly of standard furniture is part of the job.

Can you move a few heavy items only?

Yes. Tell us what they are and where they’re going and we’ll quote just that.

What can't go on the truck?

Hazardous items — propane, fuel, paint, chemicals, anything flammable. Ask us about anything you’re unsure of before moving day.
