What moving a piano, pool table or shed actually involves.
A piano, a slate pool table and a backyard shed have nothing in common except weight in the wrong shape. Each one punishes guesswork: a piano tips, slate cracks, a shed racks and splits at the corners.
So the job starts with a tape measure, not a truck. We check the width of every doorway, turn and gate at both ends, work out whether it goes on skates, a board or a trailer, and tell you upfront if something genuinely won’t fit.

What it is

Do you move grand pianos?
Yes. Grands come off their legs and travel on a piano board, which is why the measurements matter before we quote.
Can a pool table be moved in one piece?
A slate table can’t. The slate comes out, travels separately and is re-levelled on reassembly — moving one assembled is how they crack.
Can you move a shed that's full?
It needs to be empty before we lift it. Tell us what’s in it and we’ll tell you what has to come out.
What if it doesn't fit through the door?
We’ll know from your photos and measurements before the day, and we’ll tell you then — not after it’s half out of the room.
